Hi, I’m Rikke V. Stoltz.
My professional journey began in the shipping industry with A.P. Møller Maersk. Since then, I’ve founded and led several ventures – each with its own unique expression, but always with the same intention:
To create something real and meaningful.
I was part of the original team behind the world’s largest installation vessels for offshore wind – a project now known as Cadeler and listed on the stock exchange.
I’ve also designed a bicycle ferry by the Øresund Bridge, founded TEDxFrederiksberg, and worked deeply with both CBD and quality of life through my brand, Green Heart of Copenhagen.

Alongside it all, I’ve built Ugly Duckli – a heartfelt project that began with a love for Danish Christmas traditions, and has since grown to include workshops, talks and guided conversation sessions.
Everything I do comes from a deeper intention – and often from personal experience.
Nine years ago, I chose to stop drinking alcohol – because something in me knew that change was needed.
Like many others, I’ve since faced different forms of dependency: overworking, sugar, periods of loneliness and grief.
Nothing is, or ever will be, perfect – but something has become more real.
That choice opened a new path and a deeper presence, which now shapes everything I create.

I often work alone – not because I don’t care for others, but because my focus and energy become clearest in stillness.
I believe in being honest – and acting on what you truly feel.
Life is full of people who weave in and out of our stories.
Some appear when we least expect them. Others we have to let go of along the way – like my own brother (you can read more on the about Ugly Duckli page).
I like to think of it that way. That we weave through each other’s lives – like the strips of a Danish woven heart.
Perhaps you know the feeling too. Of passing something on. Of listening.
And of holding on to hope – even when it’s small.
Maybe it’s exactly that – stepping into the light together, with all that we are.
To be truly present.
And to do our best to turn the world, one small act of kindness at a time.
When we dare to be ourselves, we give others the courage to do the same.
Sometimes, that’s enough.

These talks are not just stories – they’re lived life
I speak from experience – not theory. And I believe that when we share openly, it creates room for others to reflect, feel and act. If you’re looking for a talk with honesty, depth and a little spark of courage – this is where to start:
