Ugly Duckli is a small personal project operated by Rikke V. Stoltz. Purchases through this website are made directly from Rikke V. Stoltz.
These terms apply when you place an order through the Ugly Duckli online shop. Nothing in these terms limits any mandatory consumer rights available to you under applicable law.
1. Shipping and delivery
Orders are normally dispatched within five business days after the order has been completed and payment has been accepted.
Orders are shipped with PostNord or another carrier stated during checkout. We currently ship only to the countries available during checkout. Available delivery methods, prices and estimated delivery times are shown before the order is completed.
Please ensure that your name and delivery address are correct and correspond with the information on your mailbox.
If your parcel is delivered to a parcel shop, you are responsible for collecting it within the carrier’s collection period. If you have not received a delivery notification, please check the tracking information or contact the relevant parcel shop.
If a parcel is not collected and is returned to us, any refund will be processed after the parcel has been received. Where permitted by applicable law, the actual direct return costs charged by the carrier may be deducted from the refund.
Customers outside the European Union may be responsible for local customs duties, import taxes and handling charges. These charges are not included unless expressly stated during checkout.
2. Right of withdrawal and returns
Consumers who are entitled to a statutory right of withdrawal may cancel their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason.
To exercise this right, please send a clear statement of withdrawal to info@uglyduckli.com within the 14-day period. Please include your name and order number.
The goods must then be returned no later than 14 days after notifying us of your withdrawal. Unless otherwise agreed, the customer pays the direct cost of returning the goods.
You may inspect the goods in the same way as you would in a physical shop. You may be responsible for any reduction in value caused by handling beyond what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics and functioning of the goods.
Please return the goods securely packaged and include your name and order number.
Refunds will be made using the original payment method. Refunds include the price paid and the cost of the least expensive standard delivery method offered for the original order. Additional delivery costs resulting from a more expensive delivery method are not refundable.
The refund will be made no later than 14 days after we receive your notice of withdrawal. We may withhold the refund until the goods have been returned or you provide evidence that they have been sent back.
Your bank or card provider may require additional processing time before the refund becomes visible in your account.
3. Payment
Payment can be made using the payment methods shown during checkout.
The amount is normally charged when the order is dispatched, unless otherwise clearly stated during checkout.
All prices, delivery costs and applicable taxes are displayed before you confirm the order.
4. Faulty or incorrect goods
Goods must correspond with their description and be free from defects at the time of delivery.
Consumers in the European Union have a minimum two-year legal guarantee for faulty goods. Other mandatory rights may apply depending on the customer’s country.
If an item is faulty, damaged or different from what was ordered, please contact info@uglyduckli.com as soon as possible. Please include your order number and, where relevant, photographs of the problem.
Depending on the circumstances and applicable law, the item may be repaired, replaced, refunded or subject to an appropriate price reduction. Necessary return costs for faulty or incorrect goods will be covered by the seller.
5. Privacy and payment security
Personal information is processed only as necessary to handle orders, payments, delivery, customer service, legal obligations and the secure operation of the website.
Relevant information may be shared with trusted service providers, including payment providers, website and hosting providers, and shipping carriers, when necessary to complete the order or comply with legal obligations.
Payment information is handled through the secure payment provider and is not made available to Rikke V. Stoltz in full.

6. Reservations
We reserve the right to correct obvious typing errors and pricing errors and to cancel an order if an item is unavailable.
Product colours may appear slightly different depending on screen settings, lighting and the handmade or individually finished nature of certain products.
