A pause from TEDx – but never from ideas, people or purpose
Since 2018, I’ve had the great honour of holding the license for TEDxFrederiksberg – one of the most ambitious TEDx events in Denmark, and even internationally.
Together with a fantastic team, we’ve spent the past years sharing ideas, building community, and creating talks that now live on TED.com for a global audience.
Our core team of around 50 dedicated volunteers planned every single event with love and care.
On event days, we were joined by our “Shamelessly Friendly Crew”, who brought smiles, atmosphere, and that special TEDx spirit.
TEDxFrederiksberg has had the privilege of hosting events in some of Denmark’s most beautiful venues – including the concert hall at The Royal Danish Academy of Music and the historic stables at Frederiksberg Castle.
Why a pause?
Today, TEDxFrederiksberg is temporarily on pause.
Not because the passion is gone – but because my focus is currently elsewhere.
I now work full-time on other projects, including Ugly Duckli, where I combine Danish holiday traditions, design, and experiences with presence and authenticity.
And that takes all of my time and energy.
But TEDxFrederiksberg isn’t gone – it’s simply resting.
And who knows? We might return with renewed strength when the time is right.
Talks I’m especially proud of
TEDxFrederiksberg has created a series of talks that have moved, inspired, and impacted people around the world.
Here are a few I’m especially proud of:
- 🎤 Martin Bjergegaard – Business as a love affair
- 🎤 Julija Voitiekute – Who are the real heroes
- 🎤 Mads Frost Bertelsen – I shot Marius the giraffe
- 🎤 Karsten Klintø – The beating of a green heart

Thank you for the journey
I want to say thank you.
To all the volunteers. To every speaker. To our audiences.
To TED. And to you – for finding your way here.
You’re always welcome to follow my journey here in the Ugly Duckli universe.
And to read more about my own talks below.
